Merry Christmas!

What an amazing year this has been for our family.  I am still having difficulty believing it has almost come to an end!

Every Sunday this month I have had so much fun dressing my girls up for church.  Even Travis and I have managed to coordinate as well.   This past Sunday we were blessed with the most amazing weather and spontaneously had family pictures taken.  We asked our dear friend Kyle to come over and snap a few pictures of us once I set up my camera.  I couldn’t be more pleased.  Spontaneous family pictures are the best!

Merry Christmas and blessings for the New Year from our house to yours!

Yes I had a little too much fun making matching hair attire for all the girls! 🙂

I love my blue eyed girls!

Travis made fun of my “silly” pose.  At least I look good, right?!

(Sorry for the addition of the heart.  I am unable to share pictures of one of my children at this time.)

Our very special “surprise” visitor for the past week has been Nana!  Anyone who has followed our family’s journey knows that through the miracle of adoption. we were blessed with these beautiful girls.  This gift of family came as an amazing sacrificial gift of love from Nana (the girls biological grandmother).  Thank you Nana for your selfless gift!  We are so blessed!

This visit has been wonderful!  I can’t wait to share all the details and photos, but sadly Nana must return home tomorrow.  So I am off to enjoy the rest of our precious visit together.

Today for Hailey’s birthday we had lunch at Chick-fil-a.  We had just begun to eat when Hailey looks over at my sandwich and asks…
“Is that chicken or fish?”

I smiled and said…
“Honey, this is Chick-fil-a and they serve only one kind of meat…chicken.”

She then looks up at one of their advertising posters and asks…
“Do cows have any chicken in them?”

I so love this sweet girl!
